A delay volume must also be specified for each Foxy fraction
collector connected as a system. If using the Fractionation
Valve instead, a delay volume should also be entered. The
delay volume entries ensure that the tube changes occur when
the peak fluids are present at the fraction collector diverter
valve.
If using the tubing provided with the Foxy R2 High Flow
fraction collectors or Fractionation Valve, enter the following
as applicable:
Foxy 1 Delay Volume - 20 mL
Foxy 2 Delay Volume - 40 mL
Foxy 3 Delay Volume - 60 mL
Foxy 4 Delay Volume - 80 mL
Fractionation Valve Delay Volume - 10 mL
If using custom-length tubing, calculate the delay volume use
the formula:

where L is the tubing length (cm) and D is the inside diameter
(cm). The resulting volume is in milliliters.
Fractionation Valve Configuration If using the Fractionation
Valve, enable the Fractionation Valve option and enter a delay
volume. The delay volume entries ensure that the tube
changes occur when the peak fluids are present at the fraction
collector diverter valve. You can calculate the delay volume
using the formula in the Fraction Collector topic.
4.3.11 Set Password
This window, opened by selecting the TOOLS>SET PASSWORD
[4.2.3.7] menu command, is used to enter and change the
module password, and to enable password protection for the
default methods.
To enter or change a password:
1. Type the password.
2.Type the password again to verify your entry.
