• Enable solvent B priming pump — The CombiFlash

Torrent module is equipped with a priming pump for the

B solvent to ensure that the system forms repeatable

gradients. This pump can be enabled or disabled.

CombiFlash Torrent Name Enter a name for the module. This

name will appear in the title bar of the Main window. The

name will also appear in run summaries. Unique names are

helpful when operating more than one CombiFlash Torrent

module in your lab.

Time Zone Select your local time zone.

Set Date/Time Click this button to set the date and time. From

the touch screen, this command opens a window that allows

you to set the instrument date and time. If you select this

command from a remotely connected computer, this menu

command automatically sets the module time to match the

computer’s.

Note: The module will restart after you set the time.

To prevent unauthorized time changes, this feature is

password protected. See also: S

Vapor Limit Type or select the vapor limit setting. The

CombiFlash Torrent module’s internal vapor sensor detects

vapors present in the module. When this value is exceeded,

the module will shut down to avoid a hazardous condition. For

more information, refer to S

ETTING THE VAPOR LIMIT [4.4.11].

Set Default Tube Volume Click this button to open a window

from which you can set the default volume of the collection

tubes. You can increase or decrease these values to set the

desired default volume collected in each container. Ensure

that you do not enter a value that exceeds the container’s

capacity. This will overfill the container.

The Foxy fraction collector will automatically advance to the

next tube when this default volume is met in each tube. Keep

in mind that the P
