• Progress bar — This bar displays how much of the
solvent has been pumped.
• Play button — Click this button to start the Auto
Prime.
• Fast Forward button — Click this button to skip to the
next Auto Prime step.
• Cancel button — Click this button to stop the Auto
Prime and close the window.
4.3.8 Fraction Valve Wash
The Fraction Valve Wash feature is a convenient way to wash
the optional Fractionation Valve with solvent and air. This
should be done whenever new solvents are connected to the
back panel ports, or as needed. From the window, you can
select Solvent A, Solvent B, and Air. If more than one option is
selected, the wash is performed sequentially (Solvent B, then
Solvent A, then Air).
The Fraction Valve Wash window is opened by selecting the
T
OOLS>FRACTION VALVE WASH [4.2.3.2] menu command. The
window contains the following controls:
• Option buttons — Choose one or more as needed.
• Play button — Click this button to start the pumping
sequence.
• Stop button — Click this button to stop Fraction Valve
Wash.
• Close button — Click this button to stop the Fraction
Valve Wash and close the window.
4.3.9 Manual Control
Manual Control can assist with method development,
maintenance of the module plumbing, and system
troubleshooting. The Manual Control window can be opened
by selecting T
OOLS>MANUAL CONTROL [4.2.3.3] from the
PeakTrak menu.
The Manual Control Window has several controls:
