The centre front adjuster mechanism of the restraint may not allow the
adjustment webbing to lock in place which can result in potential loosening of
the harness strap. The locking clamp of the adjuster may not rotate freely and
the adjuster strap may pull through the adjuster in the lock direction. If the
harness system loosens, the resulting slack may reduce the effectiveness of
the restraint system in a crash. Non-registered consumers should contact Dorel
Canada toll free
Until kit is received, Dorel Canada recommends continued use of the child seat
but to verify the tightness of the harness system every time the system is used

When using the infant restraint as a carrier outside of the vehicle, the handle
may move out of the locked position allowing an unrestrained infant to fall out of
the carrier. When carrying the restraint consumers must ensure that the
harness system is snugly adjusted to prevent any ejection of the infant. Until a
fix kit is received and the necessary changes are made, consumers should not
carry the restraint by the handle. Consumers may call Evenflo @ 1-800-490-
7497 or visit www.embracehandle.com to order a free repair kit and view a
“how to” video.

On certain Evenflo Embrace 35 infant car seats manufactured between 2011
and 2013, the buckle may become contaminated with foreign material, such as
food or dried liquids. Over time, the buckle may become progressively more
difficult to unlatch or become stuck in the latched position.
If this problem occurs, it may be difficult or impossible to unlatch the buckle,
which could delay the removal of an infant from the seat and increase the risk
